HTC launches One (E8) – a plastic M8 with a better camera

Not the best move HTC, I must say. Exactly two months ago, HTC launched their brilliant HTC One (M8) with a 90% metal body, the faster processor, superb UI and dazzling display. Problem is, it took the 4 MP UltraPixel gamble again, and failed. Again. Now HTC has released the One (E8), with a polycarbonate body, but a 13 MP camera.

LG G3 to launch in Singapore on 28 May

Just under a month after the launch of the HTC One (M8), Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2, LG is ready to follow suit. They have just confirmed with us that the successor to the highly acclaimed LG G2 will be launching worldwide at the end of next month, which means a competition free release window.

The main program will be taking place in London on May 27 with simultaneous events scheduled in New York and San Francisco. On May 28, unveiling events will also be held in Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul as well.

Samsung today announced that the Galaxy S5 LTE (32 GB) will be available in Singapore from 12 April 2014, Saturday, in Shimmery White and Charcoal Black, at the Recommended Retail Price of $1,068 (without contract) at all telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores and Samsung Experience Stores.

Last night, the Twenty First Tech team attended the Samsung GALAXY S5 launch event. Samsung announced the launch of the fifth generation of its GALAXY S series, the GALAXY S5 LTE, in Singapore yesterday. Designed for what matters most to consumers, the new GALAXY S5 LTE offers consumers a refined experience with innovation and essential features for day-to-day use.

The device will be available for sale on 12 April onwards.
