Love it or hate it, live tiles are here to stay. Yes, Microsoft’s bringing back the Start menu, but the fact is, for a unified system interface, live tiles are still going to be very much present. So what can Microsoft do about live tiles to make them better?

A month back we reported that Windows Phone 8.5 would bring a live tile overhaul, and now it seems that this feature will be coming to Windows as well.

To fly or to teleport? – how digital cameras have transformed photography

When HTC announced the successor to the HTC One last week, many were intrigued by its dual rear cameras. Throughout the series of leaks before the unveiling, many people speculated as to what the cameras could do. Perhaps HTC decided to have a proper high-resolution camera, and a second “UltraPixel” camera. But instead the truth is that it was simply used to adjust the point of focus on the photo after it was taken (on top of adding a couple of effects).
