Xiaomi’s brand new Mi Note flagship will be launching in Singapore in the second quarter of this year. The Mi Note, which rivals the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, is Xiaomi’s first flagship-grade phablet. It was announced in January alongside the Mi Note Pro, a more beefed-up version of the phablet.

Sony yesterday launched their mid-range device, Xperia T3, the stunning new quad-core smartphone created exclusively for those looking to stand out from the crowd. Beautifully crafted in a stainless steel frame, the Xperia T3 is a light and ultra-slim sensation that’s just as pleasing to hold, as it is to look at. Available since yesterday, it is retailing off-contract for S$498.
I wasn’t very happy with HTC’s decision to launch the One (E8) over a month ago. Using the brilliant HTC One (M8) with a 90% metal body, the faster processor, superb UI and dazzling display as a baseline, they re-launched it in plastic but with a better camera. Samsung’s changing TouchWiz to look like Tizen such that when they finally make the switch, the average consumer wouldn’t even notice.
When the Galaxy S5 was announced at MWC in February, several manufacturers took a jab at it. The heart rate monitor seemed redundant; the back of the device was often compared to a band aid; and TouchWiz didn’t get the major overhaul that it was leaked to have. We here at Twenty First Tech were a little disappointed too – until we got our hands on it at the launch event last week that is.

Last night, the Twenty First Tech team attended the Samsung GALAXY S5 launch event. Samsung announced the launch of the fifth generation of its GALAXY S series, the GALAXY S5 LTE, in Singapore yesterday. Designed for what matters most to consumers, the new GALAXY S5 LTE offers consumers a refined experience with innovation and essential features for day-to-day use.
