Android 5.0 Lollipop now seeding to HTC One M7 devices in Singapore

If you own a HTC One M7, head down to settings and check for a software update. The One that started it all is finally getting the lollipop treatment. Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pricing and pre-order details revealed

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, announced early this month, will be available for pre-order interest registration at all three telcos from 31 March, and for sale on 11 April in White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum. Nexus 6 Available in Singapore from 28 February for S$998

It sure took them a while, but hey – at least it came to Singapore, something that can’t  be said for any previous Nexus smartphone. Android purists in Singapore should be rejoicing, as now they can purchase the device with warranty and without having to jump through a million hoops though the price tag might cause some to reconsider. The days of the cheap Nexus seem to be over.

Xiaomi’s Mi Note flagship to launch in Singapore in Q2, prices inside

Xiaomi’s brand new Mi Note flagship will be launching in Singapore in the second quarter of this year. The Mi Note, which rivals the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, is Xiaomi’s first flagship-grade phablet. It was announced in January alongside the Mi Note Pro, a more beefed-up version of the phablet.

Why Your Friends Are Stubbornly Sticking To Their iPhones

Apple recently reported that 69% of their revenue came from iPhone 6 sales alone. To date, 74 million people have bought an iPhone 6, a number higher than for any other iPhone. This despite the proliferation of cheap, great Android handsets in the market from the likes of Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Oppo, among many others. With smartphone features being increasingly similar, and performance differences negligible, you would be forgiven for wondering why your friends would splash a thousand bucks on an iPhone, when an Android handset half the price would perform just as well, perhaps better.
