Episode 2 of revisited and reviewed. In our first episode we covered the Lumia 1020. This time we take a look at Microsoft’s first generation RT tablet, the Surface RT. And see how it performs as a tablet back then and now.

June, 2012. Microsoft unveils the Surface tablet to lots of fanfare. The device, with its sleek magnesium body and keyboard touch cover, generated a lot of hype in the media. But unfortunately,it was met with much criticism and didn’t sell well. Microsoft even lost $900m on a price write-down.

Nokia Lumia 1520 unboxing, hands on and first impressions

Microsoft and Nokia have made a historical breakthrough with the Lumia 1520. And it’s not just the colossal size of the 6” beast. The Lumia 1520, essentially, marks a new beginning for Windows Phone, and especially for Nokia. It is a first in many things. The first Windows Phone phablet. The first Windows Phone with GDR3 and Lumia Black, bringing support for its monstrous 1080p display, 2.2Ghz Quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 gigs of RAM, and (finally) the ability to close apps.
