Google is offering S$200 off its Pixel 3a smartphone in Singapore. The promotion started on 27 Apr and lasts till 10 May, midnight.

This means that you can now get the Pixel 3a in Singapore for just S$459 (U.P. S$659), which is a pretty good deal. Note that the promotion applies only to the regular Pixel 3a and NOT the Pixel 3a XL.

What do you get for S$459? You get a device with a 5.6″ FHD+ 18.5:9 OLED display, Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The phone also has a 3000mAh battery with a 18W fast charger included in the box.

It’s also got stereo speakers, and a headphone jack (!). And of course, you get its highly acclaimed single rear camera, which packs the same quality as the more expensive Pixels, including features such as Night Sight.

There is no water resistance or wireless charging though, and its body is made of plastic, albeit of good quality. But for S$459, who can complain?

Of course, the price reduction is in preparation for the launch of the next generation Pixel 4a, which will be launching soon. You might want to take that into consideration before making your purchase.

But for anyone who wants a solid, compact phone with an outstanding camera, the Pixel 3a is a great deal right now. Not to mention Google’s software support for the phone means that you’re guaranteed fast software updates directly from Google, and 3 years of security updates.

You can purchase the Pixel 3a from Google’s Singapore online store here.

Pixel 4 is also S$250 off

In other news, the Google Pixel 4 is also getting a discount. The regular Pixel 4 is S$869 right now, which is S$250 off. The phone had a mixed reception when it was launched, with many reviewers criticising the poor battery life in particular. It’s not a good a deal as the Pixel 3a in my opinion. But if you want it, it’s now at a discount. You can get it at Google’s store here until 10 May, midnight.

You can check out our deals page for further deals, including OnePlus 8 pre-order deals and $120 off on the Sony WH-1000XM3.

So what do you think of the discount? Will you be getting the Pixel 3a? Or will you be waiting for the Pixel 4a? Let us know in the comments below.
