HTC One (E8) available from 26 July at S$658

I wasn’t very happy with HTC’s decision to launch the One (E8) over a month ago. Using the brilliant HTC One (M8) with a 90% metal body, the faster processor, superb UI and dazzling display as a baseline, they re-launched it in plastic but with a better camera. Understandably many One (M8) customers grumbled, but perhaps they will not now – the One (E8) will cost just S$658.

HTC launches One (E8) – a plastic M8 with a better camera

Not the best move HTC, I must say. Exactly two months ago, HTC launched their brilliant HTC One (M8) with a 90% metal body, the faster processor, superb UI and dazzling display. Problem is, it took the 4 MP UltraPixel gamble again, and failed. Again. Now HTC has released the One (E8), with a polycarbonate body, but a 13 MP camera.

Samsung today announced that the Galaxy S5 LTE (32 GB) will be available in Singapore from 12 April 2014, Saturday, in Shimmery White and Charcoal Black, at the Recommended Retail Price of $1,068 (without contract) at all telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores and Samsung Experience Stores.
