Performance & Battery Life
With stock Android, a Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, the 2 XL does not break a sweat in any scenario it’s placed in. It handles modern mobile games effortlessly, as well as multitasks with sharp efficiency.
Unfortunately, being on the Pixel Lite program, Singapore does not receive the 128GB variant, although even I have not needed more than 64GB despite loading tons of TV shows and movies on my device.
Battery life is definitely one of the best in the market right now, with only Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 and S8+ able to compete. The 3520mAh battery gets me through 48 hours (that’s right, TWO DAYS!) with Bluetooth and LTE/Wi-Fi on the whole time, with music playing for approximately an hour each day. If you do somehow manage to exhaust its battery, USB Power Delivery 2.0 ensures that you’ll be back up to 50% in just under 30 minutes.
