You probably have adblocker installed on your browser on your PC to get rid of all those annoying advertisements on the websites you visit, but what about your iPhone or iPad? Mozilla, the company behind the popular web browser Firefox, released an adblocker for iOS a few months ago, and it has become one of my must-have apps ever since.
Upon installation, the app will guide you through a simple set-up process that will take less than a minute. Once set up, it will block all of the ads within safari. Within the app, you have several options to find-tune your experience, namely the options to block ad trackers, analytics trackers, social trackers, other content trackers, and web fonts. Other than getting rid of those annoying ads, this will also increase your privacy, boost page load speeds and lower your mobile data usage.
Unfortunately, this only works on Safari and not third party browsers such as Google Chrome. Either way, you should give it a shot for a less annoying web browsing experience.
