The sibling of the Nokia Lumia 1520, the Lumia 1320, will be available in Singapore starting tomorrow. The phablet, which is a cut-down version of the Lumia 1520, was announced together with its sibling a couple of months back.
The device will be retailing tomorrow at a retail price of SGD459 off contract at all Nokia stores and Nokia Solution partners. Sounds like a great deal to me. It will cost you $98 on SingTel’s Lite Plan ($39/mth), which is currently the same price as the Lumia 925. M1 is offering it for $18 on their LiteSurf+ plan ($59/mth).
Let’s have a recap of some of its specs:
- 6″ HD LCD IPS 1280 x 720 screen (245ppi), Gorilla Glass 3, ClearBlack technology
- Dual core 1.7Ghz Snapdragon S4 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 5MP Auto Focus, flash. Video [email protected]
- 0.3MP VGA front facing camera
- 3400mAh battery
- 8GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot (up to 64GB)
We’re just putting the final touches to our Lumia 1520 review (hint: it’s awesome), and we’re rather excited about the launch of the Lumia 1320 here in Singapore.
Some quick thoughts on the device: seeing that the screen is much more low resolution compared to the 1520, we can expect a big boost to battery life compared to the Lumia 1520, which already extremely amazing.
Some might be disappointed with the low resolution of the screen, but with ClearBlack, Gorilla Glass 3 and the high-quality IPS, it should look pretty amazing.
Considering that this will be the second fastest Lumia device to date, it is pretty amazing at this price point of SGD459 off contract.
We will be getting a review unit of the 1320 soon, and we’ll let you know when it arrives, so do look forward to that!
