Nokia Lumia 1020 to launch in Singapore 5 Oct, throwing in a free camera grip

As Nokia Singapore has just announced on their Facebook page, the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be launching in Singapore on 5 Oct (next Saturday), retailing for $999 without contract at all Nokia Stores and Nokia Solution Partners. What’s more, they are even throwing in a free camera grip to go together with it (the accessory which transforms it into a camera)

The device will also be selling at SingTel, M1 and Starhub on that day, though the official pricing and goodies have yet to be announced.

Just to remind you, the Lumia 1020 is highly similar with the 920 in terms of specs. The only notable differences are the 41MP hump, a slightly slimmer profile (due to the lack of in built wireless charging), 2GB of RAM instead of 1GB, AMOLED instead of LCD, and comes with the Nokia Pro Cam app pre loaded.

The 1020 is definitely the phone to get for camera enthusiasts, and it’s great to see that Nokia Singapore is bringing the best of its devices to the region. Will any of you be getting it soon?
