The LG G2 has been a hotly anticipated device worldwide, and there is no exception in Singapore. It is the first of the holiday flagships to hit Singapore, with the other contendors being the Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and LG Nexus 5.
The prices for each carrier have been condensed into a table form for easier readability. The bracketed figures indicate the total amount you will have to pay upon signing up with each carrier. The prices for the device and amount payable per month are not affected if you choose 3G over LTE or vice versa.
It should be noted that even though SingTel’s option seems higher priced, they have vastly better islandwide coverage than Starhub, and slightly better than M1. Not only that, SingTel is offering you an accessories pack worth $128, additional $30 off when buying online from 9 AM to 9 PM daily and from 11 AM to 2 PM on Wednesdays (not available for Corporate plans though). This promotion will only last until 27 September. However, it should be noted that M1 also offers a competitive package, with decent coverage as well. While SingTel’s and M1’s LTE performance is lightning quick, Starhub is severeley lagging behind in this aspect. Not only that, Starhub’s plan is only marginally cheaper than SingTel’s.
The LG G2 is certainly a very powerful phone. It packs Qualcomm’s latest processor, the Snapdragon S800 clocked at 2.26 GHz, the newest Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB RAM, a 13 MP camera, a Full HD 5.2 inch screen, and a 3000 mAh battery, which is guaranteed to last extremely long.
