New leaked photos of the LG Nexus 5 show Android 4.4 KitKat startup screen

Earlier this month, we received images of the FCC filings of the LG D820, which has now all but been confirmed as the new Nexus. It reportedly packs top of the line specs – a quad core Snapdragon S800 @ 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, a 5 inch Full HD screen, and the standard 8/16 GB storage, although there are less convincing rumours of a 32 GB one. Today, we saw images of the Nexus 5 in the wild, where it was allegedly left unsupervised charging at a bar (yes, a bar). Images (below) show that the renders and FCC leaks were true to this device’s form, as nothing seems out of place. Also to be noted is that the startup screen looks similar to the Google Play Edition phones. What do you think, is this $299 offering the next phone for you?
