Nokia Lumia 625 announced, no word on Singapore availability

Nokia has just announced the Lumia 625. The new device packs a 4.7″ screen, the biggest to be seen on a Lumia so far (even larger than the 1020’s 4.5″ screen), making it as large as the ATIV S’s screen.
Though the device packs a huge screen, as the 62x name suggests, this is not a high-end device, but rather one that’s roughly on par with the Lumia 720 and 620. The phone also sports Nokia Smart Cam. Continue reading to check out the key specs of the device.

The key specifications of the device are as follows:

  • 1.2Ghz dual core Snapdragon S4 Krait processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 5 MP camera (with flash), 1080p video capture @ 30fps
  • LTE connectivity
  • 4.7″ LCD screen (199 ppi), Corning Gorilla Glass 2
  • 2000mAh battery
  • removable covers (Orange, Bright green, Yellow, Black and white)

There is no word on the availability of the device in Singapore. Currently, it seems that the device will only be headed for countries in Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and will be priced at approximately £200. The US and Singapore are currently not listed in Nokia’s product launch list.
